| With the rear brakes having completely destroyed themselves and the subsequent snapped brakes lines we were losing fluid rapidly and with it, the ability to stop.
Thankfully this Mini had a front rear split braking system. This meant, in theory at least, if we were able to stop the fluid loss we could bleed and maintain the front brakes without worrying about the rears.
So we set about trying to bleed and seal off the rear brake lines. This we managed quite effectively by forcing a screw into the brake unions... |
